What you'll do

Prototype, build, and iterate on new Responsible AI tools and capabilities for developers.
Develop high-performance, highly available AI services that ensure safe and reliable deployments at scale.
Identify, measure, mitigate, and monitor Responsible AI risks across text, image, audio, and video content.
Drive project plans and deliverables by applying subject-matter expertise to cross-product features.
Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, and observability through proactive research into new technical patterns.
Execute rapid prototyping and iterative learning cycles based on customer insights in a fast-paced environment.
Share technical knowledge with other engineers to improve consistency in monitoring and operations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
6+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience working with generative AI systems including LLMs, diffusion models, and multimodal models.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
6+ years of technical engineering experience designing and delivering highly available, large-scale cloud services.
4+ years of technical engineering experience with machine learning models.
Experience working on safety, alignment, or Responsible AI.
