Senior Mechanical Engineer

What you'll do

• Spearhead the design, analysis, and validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Conduct and participate in engineering tests to ensure product robustness and performance.
• Partner with key suppliers to develop proof of concepts and influence technology roadmaps.
• Lead detailed mechanical design efforts for designated components.
• Execute technology development strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Integrate mechanical strategies across cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality groups.
• Utilize 3D CAD systems for concept modeling and production model interrogation.
• Perform mechanical simulations and tolerance analysis to ensure robust product development.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in product design and optimization across multiple technical disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD systems for concept modeling, production model interrogation, and communicating design ideas.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical simulations, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing-driven design.
• Expert understanding of mechanical drawings, 3D databases, and statistical quality/process control methods.
• Demonstrated success collaborating with external partners to deliver innovative solutions for enterprise and consumer products.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience using Pro-E/CREO and ANSYS (preferred).
• Experience in electronics enclosures, PC/server platforms, or intellectual property and patent generation (preferred).
