The MDM Architect will join the team to shape the enterprise data foundation powering healthcare operations, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making. This role involves designing and implementing modern Master Data Management capabilities to establish trusted, governed data across Member, Provider, and Facility domains. Key responsibilities include creating canonical data models, establishing Golden Records through identity resolution, and developing secure APIs and cloud-native data pipelines. The architect will utilize technologies including Ataccama ONE, Reltio, AWS Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Step Functions, dbt, Terraform, and Pulumi. The position requires solving complex enterprise data challenges within a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and PII requirements while optimizing SQL performance and managing metadata through platforms like Collibra, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
Design and implement enterprise Master Data Management solutions including canonical data models, identity resolution, and survivorship rules.
Configure and optimize enterprise MDM platforms such as Ataccama ONE or Reltio to ensure high-quality "Golden Records."
Develop secure, scalable APIs and integration services to expose mastered data to downstream applications and analytics platforms.
Build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using AWS services like Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and S3.
Create transformation logic and manage data quality using dbt for testing, documentation, and lineage tracking.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to support CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Establish enterprise governance standards and metadata management to ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and PII regulations.
Monitor master data quality metrics and define service level agreements for data availability across healthcare domains.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing, enterprise data management, or related disciplines.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
Experience configuring and optimizing enterprise MDM platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar technologies.
Experience building cloud-native data pipelines using AWS services including Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, and Step Functions.
Hands-on experience with dbt for transformation development, testing, documentation, lineage, and deployment practices.
Advanced SQL expertise and strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and canonical data models.
Experience working with healthcare data domains (Member, Provider, Facility) in regulated environments with HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance (preferred).
