The Master Data Management & Vendor Success Leader joins the Operations division within the Corpay Payables Data & Analytics line of business. This role oversees the strategy, governance, and quality of master data while managing the daily operations of the Vendor Success team. You will define the MDM roadmap, lead data stewardship, and ensure data accuracy for payments, customers, and products to support analytics and AI use cases. Key responsibilities include managing partner relationships with entities like Billtrust and Rampart, performing data profiling, and overseeing vendor enablement. Required skills include experience with MDM platforms like Informatica or Reltio, SQL, Python, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure. You will solve complex data defects and ensure operational consistency within a high-volume, transaction-oriented financial services environment.
Define and execute the master data management (MDM) strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Corpay Payables.
Lead and mentor the MDM team to establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Oversee the daily operations of the Vendor Success team, including partner management, service-level expectations, and escalation handling.
Establish and maintain enterprise data governance standards, policies, and controls for the entire data lifecycle.
Manage the quality, consistency, and availability of critical master and reference data, specifically focusing on vendor and payment data.
Perform hands-on data investigation to identify root causes of complex data issues and determine technical solutions.
Develop executive-level reporting on MDM performance, data quality, and business outcomes for senior leadership.
Partner with Technology and Engineering teams to ensure MDM solutions integrate with enterprise platforms and support AI use cases.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, data management, data governance, data quality, data engineering, enterprise data strategy, or related disciplines.
Significant leadership and people-management experience, including responsibility for developing and leading high-performing data teams.
Experience leading operational teams responsible for recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and ongoing execution across partner management, client support, reporting, escalations, and process improvement.
Demonstrated experience leading, scaling, or materially advancing an enterprise MDM or data-governance program.
Hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, reconciliation, deduplication, root-cause investigation, and data-quality remediation.
Working knowledge of SQL or comparable query and analytical techniques used to investigate and validate enterprise data.
Experience within FinTech, payments, financial services, or another high-volume, transaction-oriented environment.
