What you'll do

Develop and implement automated test procedures for components and full systems across the manufacturing value stream.
Manage a testing ecosystem to de-risk hardware and ensure products meet reliability and design requirements.
Perform data-driven root cause analysis on electromechanical subsystems using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Design semi-automated testing equipment and protocols for subsystem characterization and environmental testing.
Create controlled test instructions and troubleshooting logic for use by the technician team in production systems.
Optimize "end of line" factory acceptance tests (FAT) for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
Perform hands-on testing, rework, and validation of PCBA and electrical system components.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, EE/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably test design of electro-mechanical hardware in manufacturing.
Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems such as LabVIEW or Test Stand.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Matlab, or SHELL.
Experience with computer hardware communication protocols like USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
Experience developing full system test plans for sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
Ability to prototype and execute tests from experimental setup to hardware and software implementation.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
