What you'll do

  • Own the manufacturing value chain for electro-mechanical assemblies including assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Develop process flows by breaking down complex assemblies into logical subassemblies and processes.
  • Create technical documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements for large-scale production.
  • Partner with design teams to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFx) during the product development lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable processes for both rapid prototyping and mass production.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with quality engineering to resolve root causes of internal and external production issues.
  • Build prototype hardware hands-on alongside technicians and other engineers.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • Experience with Harness or PCBA design review.
  • Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via soldering, SMT, harnessing, or box assembly.
  • Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), Oracle (ERP), or equivalents.
  • Experience with RF Products that require system AI&T (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with software/firmware flashing or end-of-line testing and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export controlled information or facilities.
