Plan and optimize workstation layouts for Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) to meet throughput capacities.
Implement and continuously improve assembly, integration, and test processes for space hardware.
Specify and procure various assembly equipment and systems to meet program development requirements.
Interface with facilities personnel on site usage and integration flow for payload processing.
Define and implement Work Order and automated documentation processes for AIT.
Resolve anomalies and implement corrective actions in manufacturing processes.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or STEM field.
At least 5 years of experience developing space mechanical assemblies or similar complex products.
Minimum 3 years of technical leadership in facilities and operations setup.
Proven experience in developing functional specifications and test procedures for space hardware.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with effective communication abilities.
Familiarity with automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at various levels.
Experience in operational excellence using Six Sigma methodologies.
