Manufacturing Engineer II, Automation & Equipment

What you'll do

• Perform detailed process analysis to ensure operations comply with standard procedures and quality regulations.
• Evaluate equipment and processes using OEE and statistical data to identify and implement performance improvements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and maintenance teams to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production machinery.
• Lead engineering studies and design of experiments to improve existing manufacturing processes.
• Optimize tooling designs using CAD software like Creo, Solidworks, or AutoCAD.
• Create and update product specifications for documentation, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and ERP support.
• Execute process development, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and reports for new equipment integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production defects and ensure manufacturing schedules are met.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree is required.
• Candidates with degrees earned outside the U.S. must satisfy specific federal requirements for foreign degree evaluation.
• Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be hired for this role.
• Experience in automated and manual machine design, repair, and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Creo applications (preferred).
• Experience in medical device environment validation including IQ, OQ, MSA, and PQ (preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T and problem-solving tools such as Minitab, Six Sigma, DOE, GR&R, CAPA, and DMAIC (preferred).
• Certified Lean Six Sigma yellow or green belt (preferred).
