Production Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for both new product introductions and volume production.
• Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor process stability and drive improvements for recurring quality issues.
• Create and maintain technical work instructions, process specifications, and factory documentation.
• Support New Product Introduction by participating in design reviews, PFMEAs, and tooling evaluations.
• Provide technical support and root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve production issues and equipment failures.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to drive structural improvements in manufacturing efficiency.
• Manage MRP controls, cycle time analysis, and capacity planning for module production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical recommendations for process qualification and industrialization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 2–4 years of experience in production engineering or process development.
• Solid understanding of SPC, PFMEA, and lean principles.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, automation, and material handling.
• Competence in data analysis tools like Excel or Minitab.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
