Automation Engineer II

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and manage automated machinery processes using engineering techniques.
• Program, simulate, and optimize automated machinery to streamline manufacturing workflows.
• Build automated systems including measurement functions, control functions, and actuators.
• Configure industrial systems using PLC and HMI techniques.
• Audit existing equipment and automated processes to identify failure rates.
• Model, test, and measure output data to analyze performance or quality issues.
• Develop solutions to resolve production problems while maximizing reliability and minimizing costs.
• Draft detailed technical documentation for design specifications and related project documents.

What we're looking for

• An Associate's Degree and 2-4 years of experience are required.
• An Engineering degree is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Technical expertise, problem-solving, and communication skills are preferred.
• Analytical thinking, critical thinking, and performance analysis are preferred.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA architecture, and CAE software is preferred.
• Expertise in instrument control, power management, and process optimization is preferred.
