What you'll do

  • Manage the manufacturing value chain for electro-mechanical assemblies including assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFx) feedback during early and late stages of product development.
  • Develop detailed process flows by breaking down complex assemblies into logical subassemblies and processes.
  • Create technical documentation such as work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements for large-scale production.
  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable processes for both quick-turn development and mass production.
  • Build prototype hardware hands-on alongside technicians and other engineering team members.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve internal and external production issues.
  • Contribute to the mechanical and electrical design of components like interconnects and board fabrication.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science (preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, or similar methods.
  • Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), Oracle (ERP), or equivalent systems.
  • Experience with RF Products requiring system AI&T, scaling production, software scripting, or firmware flashing (preferred).
  • Current active U.S. Secret security clearance (preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information or facilities.
