The Manufacturing Digital Data Intern will join the team in Smyrna to work with Manufacturing Execution Systems and advanced data and AI technologies. This role involves developing digital solutions to enhance production processes, improve operational visibility, and support data-driven decision-making within a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of manufacturing floor systems, assisting with Manufacturing Execution System projects to improve process efficiency, and designing, developing, and maintaining Human Machine Interface screens. The intern will collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements through digital technologies and support data and AI initiatives. Required skills include programming experience in Microsoft VB Script, C#, or PowerShell, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills within a cross-functional manufacturing and automation context.
Support the development and enhancement of manufacturing floor systems to monitor and optimize production.
Assist with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects to improve process efficiency and data visibility.
Design, develop, and maintain Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens for manufacturing applications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements through digital technologies with engineering and production teams.
Support data and AI initiatives to drive operational excellence and manufacturing performance.

What we're looking for
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Must be entering a Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
Experience programming in Microsoft VB Script, C#, PowerShell, or similar languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Interest in manufacturing systems, automation, digital technologies, and AI applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Authorized to work in the United States and will be.
