The Manufacturing Digital Data Intern will join the operations team in Decherd, TN, to support manufacturing performance and operational excellence. The intern will support software development initiatives to improve data accessibility and manufacturing processes, leveraging AI tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement projects. Key technical requirements include familiarity with SQL and database concepts, along with an interest in big data, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data-driven solutions within a world-class manufacturing environment.
Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to support manufacturing operations and decision-making.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and actionable insights.
Support software development initiatives that improve manufacturing processes and data accessibility.
Leverage AI tools and technologies to drive continuous improvement projects and operational efficiencies.
Gather requirements from cross-functional teams to validate findings and implement data-driven solutions.
Utilize SQL and database concepts to manage and process manufacturing data.
What we're looking for
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Must be entering a Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Must have familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must have the ability to perform work onsite at Decherd, TN.
Experience with data visualization, reporting tools, or dashboard development is preferred.
