The EA & Cloud Intern - Summer 2027 joins the technology team to gain hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and AI-driven development. The intern will design and build production-grade AI agents to support AI-driven development lifecycle initiatives while leveraging enterprise AI tools to improve business processes. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with technical teams to deploy cloud-based solutions, applying enterprise architecture standards, and supporting automation and platform management. The role requires proficiency in Python and familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC. Candidates must have experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, Large Language Models, and agentic AI, alongside a basic understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Design and build production-grade AI agents to support AI-driven development lifecycle initiatives.
Use enterprise AI tools to accelerate development and improve business processes.
Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
Apply enterprise architecture standards, governance practices, and technology frameworks.
Support initiatives to improve cloud operations, automation, and platform management.
Utilize Python and AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
Implement DevOps and DevSecOps concepts including CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
What we're looking for
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Software Engineering, AI, ML, or a related field.
Must be entering a Junior, Senior, or Master's program at the start of the upcoming academic term.
Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
Strong Python programming skills.
Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC (AWS certification is a plus).
Coursework or project experience involving AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, prompt engineering, or related technologies.
Basic understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps concepts, including CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
