Manager, Software Applications Specialist

What you'll do

• Manage a team of specialists overseeing the deployment of public safety and command center software suites.
• Lead operational assessments and business process reviews to document customer requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide tailored recommendations for configuring mission-critical software to optimize client operational efficiency.
• Design and deliver training curriculums and instructional materials to ensure end-user engagement and competency.
• Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes to ensure project results meet functional requirements.
• Act as a primary liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to communicate customer needs.
• Oversee the delivery of hardware and software platform migration tasks in accordance with customer contracts.
• Manage project lifecycles to ensure software solutions are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.

What we're looking for

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred 5 years of experience in a public safety information technology field.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check for CJIS Security Policy compliance.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, resource planning, and project management.
• Experience in business process reengineering and developing training curriculum for software implementations.
