Manager, Project Engineering

What you'll do

• Provide technical direction and oversight to team leads across multiple Missile Propulsion programs.
• Create and execute a vision and strategy to build a high-performing engineering team.
• Coordinate project engineering team leads to ensure consistent program execution and milestone achievement.
• Perform labor and resource planning to ensure proper staffing across all programs.
• Manage employee performance through objective setting, succession planning, and talent development.
• Resolve internal conflicts and develop performance improvement plans as needed.
• Mentor and coach staff to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant Engineering experience.
• Must have a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Engineering experience.
• Must have a minimum of 13 years of prior related Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with government propulsion customers, prime contractors, and the defense industry (preferred).
• Experience leading engineers across multiple backgrounds, MRB meetings, or as an Integrated Product Team Lead (preferred).
