What you'll do

Manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying issues and ensuring adherence to compliance standards and business requirements.
Act as a senior solution architect for delivery control planes, including environments, pipelines, and release evidence.
Translate ambiguous problems into practical architectures and validate designs through hands-on prototypes and MVPs.
Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
Review code and validate AI-generated output to ensure security, reliability, and consistent use of reusable patterns.
Anticipate cross-team dependencies to ensure products and applications are delivered in line with business requirements.
Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure team work meets service level agreements and regulatory standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring engineers.
Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists.
Experience leading the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security implications.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Experience with mainframe platforms and Card platforms or large-scale payments systems (preferred).
