What you'll do

Direct the manufacturing test engineering team by setting objectives, guiding initiatives, and assessing outcomes.
Develop and improve scalable manufacturing test strategies for products transitioning from pre-production to full-scale output.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure product testability and seamless integration into production lines.
Implement advancements in automation, uniformity, and operational streamlining for all manufacturing testing processes.
Manage the full range of test capabilities including system level checkouts and component-level in-process validation.
Analyze test data to identify opportunities for improvements in both products and manufacturing processes.
Lead the procurement and implementation of new test equipment based on cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
Design proactive maintenance and calibration protocols for all manufacturing test equipment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant industry experience with an emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
Minimum of 2+ years as a people manager leading manufacturing test engineering or relevant adjacent fields.
Experience in Linux, C#, Python, NixOS, LabView, or other forms of test automation.
Experience with computer hardware communication protocols including USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
Proficiency in electronic and RF test equipment and experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing standards like EOL and ESS.
Familiarity with Test Execution Systems (TES), Product Life Cycle (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and ERP systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance.
