Head of Manufacturing Test Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and execute a comprehensive global manufacturing test strategy for high-volume production across international sites.
• Lead a high-performing global engineering team to drive innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop innovative test methodologies and infrastructure for complex electro-mechanical assemblies and propulsion systems.
• Manage the strategic design, procurement, and implementation of test equipment while optimizing cost-benefit ratios.
• Integrate design-for-testability principles into the product lifecycle in collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Establish data analytics frameworks to provide actionable insights for decision-making and process optimization.
• Implement training, documentation, and maintenance strategies to ensure high equipment uptime across global operations.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for resolving complex testing challenges and long-range planning.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing test engineering for high-volume production.
• Expertise in testing complex electro-mechanical assemblies, advanced electrical systems, and propulsion technologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage large, diverse engineering teams across global sites.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills to convey technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing large departmental budgets and strategic capital expenditures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, reliability engineering, and root cause analysis.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
