Manager, Data and AI Engineering

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable data and AI platforms using Databricks, AWS, and cloud-native engineering patterns.
• Deliver robust ETL/ELT, streaming, and CDC pipelines using Spark, Kafka, and Delta Lake.
• Develop AI-powered use cases including RAG applications, AI agents, and tool-calling workflows.
• Design data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault patterns for optimal performance.
• Implement data quality frameworks, observability, alerting, and monitoring to ensure production reliability.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and production-ready data and AI solutions.
• Oversee resource planning, project execution, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and provide hands-on technical leadership across architecture, design reviews, and implementation.

What we're looking for

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or web application development.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or engineering management role.
• Proficiency in the AWS ecosystem, including S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Proven experience operationalizing Large Language Models into autonomous agents with multi-step workflows.
• Deep expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows.
• Hands-on experience scaling Unity Catalog (preferred).
• Active Databricks or AWS certifications (preferred).
