What you'll do

Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a regional team of cost accountants and analysts.
Oversee standard costing practices to ensure accurate product costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
Manage the cost accounting close process, including cost roll-ups, absorption reporting, and inventory reconciliations.
Design and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance for future IPO readiness.
Administer physical and cycle count programs across multiple sites to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding cost accounting and inventory matters.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to analyze manufacturing performance and production efficiency.
Support pricing, cost proposals, and audit requirements related to U.S. government contracts (FAR/CAS).

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
5-7 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing is required.
Experience with standard costing in complex, low-volume, high-dollar manufacturing environments is required.
Strong knowledge of U.S. government contracting cost principles (FAR/CAS) is required.
Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining internal controls and supporting external audits is required.
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and data analysis tools is required.
Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
