Manager, CDN Automation Development

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to foster a high-performing and inclusive culture.
• Manage the design, development, and delivery of CDN infrastructure automation from concept through launch.
• Implement and optimize modern SDLC practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and incident management.
• Oversee project planning, estimation, resourcing, and sequencing for complex cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• Set architectural direction and make key technical decisions to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
• Reduce operational risk through disciplined incident response and root cause analysis.
• Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for senior leadership and non-technical business partners.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Must have 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as an engineering lead or manager.
• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, including Concourse CI/CD, Ansible, and Git/GitHub.
• Deep experience with Linux systems administration in large-scale distributed environments.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience designing and supporting high-traffic platforms at a global scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
