Manager, AI Science

What you'll do

• Build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning approaches.
• Lead, hire, and mentor a team of AI scientists.
• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems and fuel new business opportunities.
• Deliver breakthrough benefits to customers by analyzing individual, enriched, and aggregated data.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams to guide strategy in key technology spaces.
• Teach proven methods for processing divergent data types at scale using advanced predictive statistical modeling.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and entrepreneurial guidance for business stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, or Physics.
• Experience as an established technical leader or manager of AI science teams delivering data-driven software products.
• Expert command of AI, machine learning, statistical modeling, state-of-the-art tools, and engineering best practices.
• Experience leading teams with expertise in data mining algorithms, neural nets, NLP, recommender systems, and other statistical modeling techniques.
• Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple teams to guide strategy and innovation.
• Strong ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and business plans.
• Proven ability to communicate a vision, mentor others, and lead through ambiguity.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to solve long-term strategic outcomes in an innovative way.
