Vice President Machine Learning Scientist, Natural Language Processing

What you'll do

• Research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning models to solve real-world problems involving Generative AI.
• Act as a thought partner for leadership to identify and implement impactful machine learning methods.
• Manage the full lifecycle of developing and deploying machine learning solutions from ideation to production.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with business, technology, legal, and compliance teams to deploy solutions.
• Develop large-scale frameworks to accelerate the application of machine learning models across different business areas.
• Design experiments and training frameworks while evaluating performance metrics aligned with specific business goals.
• Represent the firm's work at industry conferences and within knowledge-sharing communities.

What we're looking for

• PhD in a quantitative discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
• MS degree with at least 5 years of industry or research experience in the field.
• Solid background in Generative AI (GenAI) and deep learning methods.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning toolkits such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and Pandas.
• Ability to design experiments, training frameworks, and evaluate model performance metrics aligned with business goals.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Knowledge of search/ranking, Meta Learning, or A/B experimentation is preferred.
• Experience with cloud-native deployment in large-scale distributed environments and production-quality code development is preferred.
