Machine Learning Engineer, Search & Knowledge Quality

What you'll do

• Design and implement machine learning models and RAG-based agentic solutions for NLP and multimodal applications.
• Develop advanced techniques to improve user query understanding, intent recognition, and document ranking.
• Generate high-quality answers using state-of-the-art LLM and ML technologies.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features within the Siri Search system from ideation to production deployment.
• Integrate and manage ML solutions into existing production systems and workflows at scale.
• Build and maintain machine learning pipelines and CI/CD workflows for large-scale deployments.
• Conduct experimental research to benchmark and optimize LLM training and evaluation algorithms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of industry-related experience working in collaborative environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C/C++, and GoLand.
• Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, AXLearn, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience integrating ML solutions into production systems at scale using CI/CD workflows and ML pipelines.
• Expertise in state-of-the-art ML methodologies including LLM fine-tuning, neural network optimization, and RL.
• Strong communication skills to present technical concepts clearly and the ability to solve complex problems independently.
