Loads and Dynamics Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform static and dynamic ground and landing gear loads analyses for various conditions.
• Conduct maneuver load surveys to satisfy 14 CFR Part 25 certification requirements.
• Develop pressure load distributions for specific aircraft components.
• Analyze structural dynamic responses and load distributions for gust and turbulence conditions.
• Document analysis findings in formal engineering reports for aircraft certification.
• Process post-test data using MATLAB, Python, or Linux environments.
• Support ground and flight testing programs to ensure successful certification.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related curriculum is required.
• 18 months of related engineering experience is required.
• General knowledge of aircraft loads and dynamics principles and concepts is required.
• General knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 requirements and certification is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with MATLAB and/or Python for analytical and post test data processing is required.
• Knowledge of and experience with Linux is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Advanced degree in Aerospace or related Engineering, MSC Nastran, and fly-by-wire aircraft experience (preferred).
