As the Lead Technical Program Manager - Payment Data and AI Platform within the Commercial and Investment Banking – Data Analytics Payments Team, you will drive the delivery of complex technology projects to meet firm-wide business goals. You will develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources and budgets, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Your daily work involves identifying risks, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams, and championing agile delivery practices. A core component of this role is utilizing enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate program planning, risk synthesis, and reporting while ensuring strict data sensitivity compliance. You will apply advanced analytical reasoning to optimize performance and manage stakeholder relationships. The role focuses on the technical challenges of payment data systems and the integration of AI-assisted practices for governance and operational excellence within a financial institution context.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans including technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines for technology solutions.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate program planning, risk synthesis, and executive reporting.
Identify and mitigate risks by proactively addressing roadblocks and implementing contingency plans.
Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Use analytical reasoning to assess program performance and implement data-driven optimizations for efficiency.
Champion agile delivery practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance while ensuring human review and alignment with standards.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management leading complex projects in a large organization.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use while following data handling expectations.
Advanced expertise in stakeholder management to establish relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into tasks.
Ability to manage workload priorities in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment (preferred).
Experience with vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, process documentation, and financial institutions (preferred).
