What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary product owner for Solipsys command-and-control mission software architecture and configurations.
  • Integrate and configure Solipsys mission software for airborne C2 weapon systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain exportable Solipsys configurations for use across multiple programs within the business area.
  • Translate operational concepts and customer requests into detailed system, subsystem, and product level requirements.
  • Write subsystem specifications based on system-level requirements and evaluate alternative solutions for preliminary designs.
  • Develop, author, and implement comprehensive software and system test plans.
  • Deliver technical presentations to non-technical professionals and government customers regarding Solipsys C2 capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or no degree and 13 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering requirements development, decomposition, traceability, verification, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience integrating and configuring Solipsys mission software for airborne and ground-based applications.
  • Working knowledge of Solipsys C2 software architecture and configuration for NATO C2 weapon systems.
  • Experience with OpenShift deployments and cluster environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solypsis SDK, API interfaces, data flows, and system architecture.
  • DoD Secret Clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI; requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Experience creating and managing exportable Solipsys configurations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Solipsys software updates, version management, and configuration baseline control (preferred).
  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting software or network anomalies (preferred).
  • Aircraft optical sensor system integration and ground/flight test support experience (preferred).
  • Experience obtaining and maintaining a government network ATO (preferred).
  • Experience working with subcontractors and U.S. Government customers (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience testing, integrating, and verifying hardware or software systems (preferred).
  • Ability to support flight tests or obtain an active flight physical (preferred).
