What you'll do

Provide technical leadership in space operations including tactics development, planning, and exercise execution.
Manage the lifecycle support of complex systems to protect and defend space assets.
Coordinate with geographically separated operators to create synergy between various commands and organizations.
Develop CONOPS, operational procedures, and conduct checkouts for new systems and applications.
Lead cross-functional technical efforts across hardware, software, mechanical, test, and quality teams.
Participate in Engineering Review Boards and provide technical inputs on contract performance for the PMO.
Conduct design reviews and coordinate implementation with affected users during project readiness cycles.
Perform as a certified BSA crew member, including working shifts that may include nights and weekends.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, a graduate degree and 7 years of experience, or no degree and 13 years of experience.
Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information.
Experience in orbital mechanics, space systems, space operations, integration, and testing.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical programs from concept through sustainment.
STK Certification and/or Astrogator knowledge (preferred).
Familiarity with DoD/NRO spacecraft and missions (preferred).
Experience supporting Joint Operations including Joint Pubs 3-14 & 5.0 (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
