The Lead, Systems Engineering joins the Range and Test Solutions business area to sustain and upgrade flight test instrumentation. This senior professional role involves leading technical teams to design and test complex systems, specifically focusing on Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, and Radar. Support digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives.
Generate detailed requirements specifications and functional block diagrams.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper systems integration.
Update drawings, parts lists, Engineering Orders, wiring lists, and schematics.
Generate and manage Engineering Change Orders.
Create and present comprehensive design review materials.
Verify system interfaces to ensure technical compliance.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree with 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of experience without a degree.
Active US Secret security clearance.
5+ years of direct engineering experience.
2+ years of direct experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, and/or Radar.
Ability to travel.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (preferred).
Demonstrated initiative, drive, and interpersonal skills (preferred).
