What you'll do

Perform root cause analysis and investigation on design, production, and field failures of communication systems.
Develop and manage the Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process.
Recommend design improvements and corrective actions to the Failure Review Board based on reliability analysis.
Review fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures while performing functional testing on equipment.
Maintain the FRACAS database by tracking open investigations and generating reports for management and customers.
Present technical data and project status updates during management and customer reviews.
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Programs, Material Control, and Quality departments to resolve issues.
Manage time and resources to support multiple concurrent engineering programs.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
An ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 9 years of experience is strongly preferred.
A graduate degree with 7 years of related experience is required in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience is required in lieu of a degree.
Direct experience supporting a FRACAS program is desired.
Familiarity with FRACAS software, Reliability Analysis, and Failure Mode / Fault Tree Analysis is desired.
Experience troubleshooting complex electronic systems, including data links and mechanical systems, is desired.
