What you'll do

Design, develop, and deploy regulatory model applications and cloud modernization initiatives.
Architect scalable, secure, and efficient systems to process large volumes of data.
Manage a local team of developers while providing technical leadership and project guidance.
Implement AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and testing.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing.
Perform hands-on software development and direct technical implementation.
Drive the adoption of automation tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and testing.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity and security.
Strong experience with PySpark, Python, AWS, and Databricks.
Experience with machine learning (preferred).
Data engineering experience.
Proven project lead or team lead experience.
Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
