As a Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate Technology - Consumer and Community Banking Risk Technology team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and efficient algorithms using at least one major programming language.
Implement and manage data solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and secure sharing.
Develop workflows and ETL pipelines using Python, Databricks, and Spark to optimize large-scale data processing.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and test acceleration.
Build and manage API-driven development using AWS ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Analyze large, diverse datasets to develop visualizations and reporting that drive continuous software improvement.
Provide technical and architectural guidance to junior engineers while driving projects independently.
Manage deployment pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Spinnaker to ensure operational stability.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software or data engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and statistical data analysis.
Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language and frameworks including Python 3, ETL, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, and NoSQL.
Significant experience with data migration and platform migration for data projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Demonstrated experience in API-driven development using fast API on AWS ECS with API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
Proficiency with deployment pipelines such as Git, Julies, Jenkins, and Spinnaker, plus skills in building test scripts and using True CD.
