What you'll do

Lead communities of practice to promote the awareness and use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
Architect and manage infrastructure on AWS Cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Design and implement control plane architectures for large-scale, distributed applications to ensure system reliability.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks, such as Python and Django.
Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and hands-on experience with system design, application development, and testing.
Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Demonstrated proficiency in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing containerized distributed applications with orchestration and scaling strategies.
Demonstrated ability to architect and manage infrastructure on AWS Cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Proven experience in designing and implementing control plane architectures for large-scale, complex distributed systems.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly CockroachDB or similar distributed databases (preferred).
Practical cloud native experience (preferred).
