As a Lead Software Engineer- Python / Quant Developer / Quant Research within the Asset and Wealth Management Technology Team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. What you'll do

Develop high-quality, secure production code in Python for the Quant Research Platform.
Build reusable Python Quant libraries to standardize research-to-production patterns.
Partner with Quant Research on model development and validation workflows.
Implement AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and design creative software solutions beyond conventional approaches.
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong experience with Python coding.
Experience in financial services across various asset classes.
Knowledge of statistical methods, quant research, or data analytics.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on safe adoption.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Practical cloud native experience; CFA charter holder (preferred); experience with systematic portfolio management or model development (preferred).
