What you'll do

Design, develop, and troubleshoot multiple components across complex systems to deliver low-latency workflows.
Write high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Develop and integrate trading workflows and loan reference data for the Secondary Loan Trading desk.
Build scalable, front-office-facing services to streamline trading workflow management and enhance productivity.
Translate evolving business demands into clear technical requirements and pragmatic solutions under time constraints.
Implement end-to-end components while accounting for upstream and downstream dependencies and technical implications.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Python and strong SQL and database querying skills.
Experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced understanding of agile practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments across the full SDLC.
Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native development (AWS), and Fixed Income products.
