What you'll do

Design and deliver scalable full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript.
Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for strategic platform capabilities and application features.
Lead the design of cloud-native, containerized microservices using domain-driven design and API-first development.
Build high-performance backend services and APIs using REST, GraphQL, and relational databases.
Implement event-driven and streaming architectures leveraging Kafka for scalable, loosely coupled systems.
Develop modern administrative user interfaces using React and TypeScript to improve platform usability.
Improve application reliability and observability through automation, proactive monitoring, and incident management.
Implement AI-powered solutions and agentic workflows to optimize software development and operational processes.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
Strong expertise designing and developing backend services using Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
Strong experience with relational databases, SQL optimization, and data access patterns.
Experience implementing event-driven and streaming architectures using Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
Experience building modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
