As a Lead Software Engineer- Python AI on the Identity & Access Management team, you will join an agile group focused on delivering market-leading technology and establishing governance frameworks for the safe adoption of emerging technologies. You will design and develop scalable, resilient systems while building high-quality software and AI-powered capabilities that meet strict standards for security, fairness, and accountability. Your daily work involves creating production code, maintaining algorithms, and driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. You will utilize Java or Python, manage the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, and perform data analysis to identify patterns in large datasets. The role specifically addresses technical challenges within identity and access management while ensuring responsible AI use through secure handling of inputs and outputs across various software applications.
Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python for product teams.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronized algorithms.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs including security, performance, and peer review.
Implement automation capabilities within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain.
Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software code meets specific design constraints.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
Coach engineers on the safe and compliant adoption of AI technologies within delivery practices.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in coding using Java or Python languages.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools to improve quality, speed, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (preferred).
Familiarity with identity & access management solutions or exposure to AI/ML technologies (preferred).
