The Lead Software Engineer- Agentic Identity joins the Consumer & Community Banking team to build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will secure agentic AI systems by defining identity models for non-human principals and managing delegated authorization patterns. What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
Lead communities of practice to promote the awareness and use of leading-edge technologies.
Define and enforce identity standards and security models for distributed environments and non-human principals.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant adoption of AI tools while ensuring data sensitivity and security.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Demonstrated expertise in identity and access management (IAM), including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and token-based authorization frameworks.
Practical experience securing agentic AI systems and defining identity models for non-human principals at enterprise scale.
Familiarity with emerging agentic integration standards and their security and governance implications in enterprise deployments.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
