Lead Software Engineer, Observability Platform Cloud Developer

What you'll do

• Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
• Design and implement creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems beyond conventional approaches.
• Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall system operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
• Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
• Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs to ensure security, performance, and accuracy.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities to improve delivery speed and operational outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, React, or Python.
• Advanced experience with two or more technologies including web development, databases, Unix/Linux, distributed systems, Kafka, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
• Practical cloud native experience with cloud application deployment and an AWS certification.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring secure and compliant practices.
