As a Lead Software Engineer-Network Infrastructure Development within the Corporate Sector- Infrastructure Platforms team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. You will lead the development of software-defined networking solutions for datacenters, architecting network orchestration systems across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your daily responsibilities involve building automation frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code to improve operational efficiency while mentoring junior engineers on automation principles. You will utilize a technical stack featuring Python, Go, JavaScript, Rust, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. The role requires deep expertise in networking protocols like BGP, MPLS, and TCP/UDP, alongside experience with VMware NSX-T and Kubernetes. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and automated testing across complex network infrastructure components.
Lead the development and delivery of software-defined networking (SDN) solutions for scalable datacenter infrastructure.
Design and implement network automation solutions and management platforms using Python, Go, and JavaScript.
Architect and deploy SDN solutions and orchestration systems across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, APIs, and tooling to automate interactions with network devices and monitoring systems.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing within the development lifecycle.
Mentor junior engineers on network automation principles and influence technical direction regarding emerging technologies.
Perform root cause analysis and debug complex network infrastructure components and automation software.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience in network infrastructure development and networking engineering.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong experience developing software with Python, Go, JavaScript, RUST, and Shell Scripting for network automation and infrastructure management.
Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP) and cloud networking architectures including VMware NSX-T.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices using Ansible or Terraform.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and validation standards.
Experience with network visibility tools (Cisco ACI, Calico, OVN, Cilium), policy-as-code, zero-trust architecture, or industry-recognized cloud networking certifications (preferred).
