What you'll do

Lead the development and delivery of software-defined networking (SDN) solutions for scalable, resilient datacenter infrastructure.
Design and implement network automation solutions and management platforms using Python, Go, and JavaScript.
Architect and deploy SDN solutions and network orchestration systems across multi-cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Develop maintainable infrastructure-as-code, APIs, and automation frameworks that integrate with network devices and monitoring systems.
Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Influence product design and technical operations by making key decisions on application functionality and processes.
Mentor junior engineers on network automation, infrastructure-as-code principles, and emerging SDN technologies.
Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot network applications to ensure performance and reliability requirements are met.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience in network infrastructure development and DevOps networking engineering.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, RUST, and Shell Scripting for network automation and infrastructure management.
Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP) and cloud networking architectures (VPC, CNI, VMware NSX-T).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices (Ansible, Terraform).
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and responsible AI practices.
Experience with network visibility tools (Cisco ACI, Calico, OVN, Cilium), policy-as-code, and industry-recognized networking certifications (preferred).
