Lead Software Engineer .Net

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy secure, high-quality production code using modern object-oriented programming languages.
• Review, debug, and provide technical troubleshooting for code written by other team members.
• Implement AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and incident analysis.
• Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
• Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Manage projects end-to-end by defining scope, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing delivery timelines.
• Optimize complex SQL queries to support data analysis and feature development within the payment space.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Professional experience leading projects end-to-end, including defining scope, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing timelines.
• Hands-on experience in a modern object-oriented programming language such as .NET/C# for building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Experience writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries for data analysis and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• Familiarity with modern front-end libraries and frameworks such as JavaScript and React (preferred).
• Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
