What you'll do

Serve as a technical anchor by setting engineering standards and making key architectural decisions for the platform.
Design, build, and maintain core components of the Developer Workbench across the full development lifecycle.
Lead the technical roadmap to transform the platform into a cohesive, productized developer experience.
Manage the "birthright and optional tooling" catalog, including version management and tool evaluations.
Architect and implement pre-provisioned onboarding environments to ensure new hires are productive quickly.
Drive the adoption of AI-augmented development tools like GitHub Copilot and automated quality pipelines.
Define and monitor metrics regarding developer productivity, satisfaction, and platform health.
Ensure all tooling implementations comply with corporate security and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

Proven track record as a technical leader who improves team quality through code reviews and design feedback.
Strong background in software engineering focused on platform engineering, developer tooling, or DevEx products at enterprise scale.
Demonstrated ability to decompose complex problems and communicate trade-offs clearly to engineers of all levels.
Deep familiarity with modern tools including AI coding assistants, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and developer portals.
Experience working with AI-powered developer tools in a regulated enterprise environment with an understanding of policy compliance.
Deep command of DevEx principles and the ability to translate developer pain points into platform improvements.
Experience designing and delivering pre-provisioned, standardized development environments at scale.
Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure automation, and cloud-native development patterns.
