Lead Software Engineer, Java, Resiliency Technology

What you'll do

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews for other team members.
• Design and deliver backend services and automation pipelines for critical business initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and execute creative software solutions beyond conventional approaches.
• Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with product owners to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Conduct critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support business objectives.
• Implement automation and continuous delivery methods within a regulated enterprise environment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in coding Java Spring Boot.
• 8+ years of coding experience (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proven track record delivering in regulated enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Experience in large-scale financial services engineering (preferred).
• Experience in Cloud-based solutions (AWS) (preferred).
• Experience in AI/ML, Generative AI solutions, and Agentic Engineering (preferred).
• Familiarity in Risk and Resiliency domains (preferred).
