As a Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate Technology - Enterprise Technology team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production code while leading evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs. Your daily work involves building decoupled systems, implementing RESTful APIs, and driving the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. You will utilize a technical stack including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, and PL/SQL, alongside AWS services like ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Step Functions. Additionally, you will employ Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Kafka, JUnit, Mockito, and front-end technologies like React JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to solve complex enterprise-scale software problems.
Hands-on experience in public cloud using Kubernetes, AWS, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Eventbridge, Step Functions, and Terraform.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and building decoupled systems using object-oriented principles.
Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Familiarity with React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL performance tuning, JDBC, ORM frameworks, DevOps practices, and AI systems like Copilot or Claude (preferred).
