As a Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate Technology - Enterprise Technology team, you will serve as a core technical contributor in an agile environment. You are responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting creative software solutions while ensuring high-quality production code through peer reviews and automated testing. Your role involves leading evaluation sessions with vendors, driving communities of practice, and integrating enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and operational stability. The technical stack includes Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST Services, and SQL including PL/SQL. You will work with AWS services like ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Eventbridge, and Step Functions, alongside Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure automation. Additional technologies include Apache Kafka, JUnit, Mockito, React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and AI systems such as Copilot and Claude to build secure, scalable, and decoupled systems.
Experience with public cloud technologies including Kubernetes, AWS (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Eventbridge, Step Functions), and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs using object-oriented principles and design patterns to build decoupled systems.
Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Knowledge of messaging platforms like Apache Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI practices.
Familiarity with React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred).
Experience with SQL performance tuning, JDBC, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA (preferred).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization, and orchestration (preferred).
Exposure to AI systems such as Copilot or Claude (preferred).
