The Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) joins a team of makers to drive a major technological transformation. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full stack systems. You will collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that help meet regulatory needs and drive powerful experiences for financial empowerment. Your daily work involves utilizing JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go. You will also work with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools. You will mentor other engineering community members while staying on top of emerging tech trends.

What you'll do

  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
  • Develop distributed microservices and full stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
  • Deliver robust cloud-based solutions to drive customer experiences.
  • Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go.
  • Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement and maintain various AWS tools and services.
  • Mentor other members of the engineering community.
  • Leverage interactive AI tooling to accelerate development productivity.

What we're looking for

  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
  • 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
