The Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack ( Cloud Native, Microservices & AWS) ( Enterprise Platforms Technology) joins the Developer Experience team to build internal tools and platforms that improve engineering productivity and code quality. You will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. Daily responsibilities include developing solutions for Claude Code integrations, skills marketplaces, and AI-powered workflows. You will utilize JavaScript, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. The role requires expertise in container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS tools. This position solves the business problem of reducing friction and accelerating software delivery across the organization.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions meeting regulatory needs.
Develop internal tools and platforms to improve engineering productivity and code quality across the organization.
Build and deliver robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and services.
Implement distributed microservices and full-stack systems using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Integrate AI-powered workflows and interactive AI tooling to accelerate software delivery.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technology trends.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with a variety of AWS tools and services.
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in Python, TypeScript, or Javascript (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Docker (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Claude Code, GitHub, or Copilot (preferred).
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity (preferred).
