What you'll do

  • Design and build secure, accessible, and high-performing frontend web applications for external-facing experiences.
  • Implement micro frontend architecture including module federation, shared state management, and event-driven interactions.
  • Define and maintain frontend engineering standards, reusable component libraries, and enterprise design systems.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs while ensuring robust authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and observability through proactive monitoring and targeted optimizations.
  • Review code and architecture to address technical debt and ensure long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor other engineers through hands-on guidance in design, coding, and complex problem-solving.
  • Evaluate technical options against business objectives, security requirements, and enterprise infrastructure goals.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent through work, training, military service, or education.
  • 4+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade frontend applications.
  • 4+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • 4+ years of experience with React and modern frontend frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing micro frontend architecture, including Module Federation or Web Components.
  • 3+ years of experience with component-based architecture and reusable UI libraries.
  • 3+ years of experience with state management frameworks such as Redux or Zustand.
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
  • 2+ years of experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience implementing micro frontends with tools like single-spa or Nx (preferred).
  • Experience building enterprise design systems and shared component libraries (preferred).
  • Experience with frontend observability, monitoring, and performance optimization (preferred).
  • Full-stack or server-side experience including Node.js or SSR frameworks (preferred).
  • Knowledge of security/accessibility standards like OAuth 2.0 and WCAG (preferred).
